Job Description	Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Game Designer to oversee and mentor their design & integration team. The Senior Game Designer will be responsible for developing and implementing core concepts, gameplay mechanics and game content in conjunction with other departmental leads; and then championing the overall game vision to other team members. The Senior Game Designer will also be responsible for conceptualizing, creating and maintaining detailed game design documentation throughout the the project cycle; as well as continuously balancing and adjusting the gameplay experience to ensure the product's critical and commercial success. Requirements: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, minimum 4 years of game industry experiences - at least 2 shipped console title credit - Game Design experience from concept to commercial game product releases (in particular for the senior position) - Thorough understanding of video games in a wide variety of genres - Analytical and creative mind that thrives on problem solving - The ability to document and visualize ideas and concepts - Great teamwork skills and the ability to communicate very clearly in English, both in speech and in writing - Level design experience - Creative writing skills - Work experience from the creative industries Main responsibilities are: - Game Design from high concept to implementation and completion - Communicating (both orally and through documentation) with a team of artists and programmers to ensure the creative vision is fulfilled - Collaborating with the game team to create innovative ideas for new concepts and existing design issues Please contact Anne Marie Anetts on 0208 947 9007 or annemarie@interactiveselection.com if you are interested in this position.
