| Job Description | KONNICHIWA LEAD 2D AND 3D ARTISTS!! Our client, a top games developer based in Japan, is seeking awesomely talented and experienced 2D and 3D game artists to work in their Japanese studio. Western applicants are welcome and Japanese language skills are not required although a willingness to learn and a strong interest and desire to live and work in Japan are essential. You will need first class skills across the board, including freehand illustration, texturing, modelling, rigging, lighting etc. You will have shipped and been credited on a number of successful games across the latest console systems and you will be outstanding in your field. With strong Maya, Softimage, Photoshop and Illustrator, your graphics demo/showreel will speak for itself and your talent will stand out from the rest. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and untold patience. Previous experience working with Japanese programmers/artists/producers will be an advantage.
