Job Title Lead Graphics Programmer, Japan

Job Description Lead Graphics programmer wanted for top Japanese studio.

REQUIRED GRAPHICS KNOWLEDGE:-

* Contemporary Graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, RenderWare, or other)

* Shader Programming (HLSL, Cg, or other)

* Optimisation techniques for graphics

* Image and Post-processing techniques

* Lighting (real-time and pre-computed)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:-

* Strong C++ skills are essential - a minimum of 5 years C++ professional experience.

* Strong maths skills, especially 3D

* Experience of graphics programming on PS2/PS3 and Wii, with at least three published titles.

* Strong skills in creating well written and well documented code.

* Strong problem solving & debugging skills.

* Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.

* Ability to produce work to agreed deadlines

*- B.Sc degree (2i) or higher

DESIRABLE:-

* Some Japanese language skills would be an advantage.
