| Job Description | Physics Programmer Our client is driven to produce the best, most innovative games for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC and GameCube. They are looking for a Physics Programmer to share their drive in being the best. Your role is to further develop our clients game engine to simulate physical behaviour and real-world dynamics. Responsibilities: Creating, improving and maintaining the physics system Support and interface with the game project team to solve physics Maintain and enhance the stability, quality, and variety of game physics elements Optimize the existing physics code Implementation of physics solutions using physics middleware Support for existing physics systems Key Skills Excellent C/C++ programming skills Superior 3D math skills Experience writing simulation code for components such collisions, contact force calculation, fluid-dynamics Experience with commercial game physics packages Experience with multithreaded/ SPU programming Preferred Skills Knowledge of Xbox360 or PS3 console development Experience with optimization techniques Experience with physics APIs such as Havok or PhysX Please contact Cassandra Donnelly on 0208 144 6336 or cassandra@interactiveselection.com if you are interested in this position.
