Job Description As the senior animator, you must bring to life a large variety of characters and objects. You must have a great sense of observation and be asked to work closely with the artistic director and the game programmers in order to create numerous interactive elements that make up a video game. The lead animator should have great knowledge of animating for a video game (the constraints of running animations in real-time, understanding of a game engine, interactivity and animation cycles, etc…). Requirements •1 to 3 years of experience in the video game industry •Your portfolio demonstrates an excellent understanding of the principles of animation (Anticipation/ Follow through, Stretch & Squash. etc.) •Good knowledge of human anatomy •Involved in the production of at least one published game •Expertise in Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage XSI or other equivalent 3D software •Knowledge of diverse styles of animation •Training from an art school or training in 3D/2D animation program is a plus •Passion for animation and video games Please contact Adrian Garrick on 0208 417 1004 or adrian@interactiveselection.com if you are interested in this position.
