Job Description	Our client is looking for a talented concept artist to join their team. If you share a passion for games and want to join Australia’s Best games developer – we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: •Create quality concept art according to vision outlined by designer and lead concept artist. •Create concept art for primary and secondary characters, objects and environments •Create thumbnails, sketches, model sheets and production paintings within deadline •Ensure that Concept art is consistent with defined visual style for the game •On occasion build basic 3D models or assist with building of basic to intermediate levels •Create textures, environment domes and particle effects as required by lead •Utilise tools to ensure assets are fully optimized for target platforms •Perform additional tasks as requested Requirements: •A strong knowledge of traditional illustration and painting techniques including an ability to work in wide range of styles •Ability to create and work from colour palettes •A good eye for lighting, shading, colour, detail and form •Thoroughly knowledgeable in Photoshop and/or similar painting program •Good knowledge of human and animal anatomy, with an eye for accurate proportions, form, and details •A good understanding of efficient techniques for game production, on both high and low resolution pipelines •An ability to create complex textures while using minimal necessary colours, resolution etc. Life in Adelaide The capital of South Australia and Australia’s fifth largest city, Adelaide is surrounded by parklands and perfect beaches.
