As QA Manager you will oversee our internal quality assurance team of over 60 employees, develop internal test procedures, monitor the development of test plans and manage the day-to-day activities of our test teams.You will be responsible for providing our production teams with continual requirements analysis and for allocating sufficient resources and qualified personnel to test cycles.

Your Job:

  • Develop, lead and coordinate our quality assurance department and report directly to our Head of Production
  • Oversee and administer day-to-day development-focused quality assurance operations
  • Ensure high standards are maintained in our quality assurance department while keeping in mind the particular requirements of agile software development
  • Act as an internal spokesperson for all matters pertaining to quality assurance, identify potential conflicts and risks and communicate these clearly and promptly to the relevant people
  • Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance department by evaluating current QA processes and developing new test strategies that meet the demands of our developers


Your Profile:

  • Several years' professional experience in the development and/or quality assurance of (online) games
  • Excellent knowledge of different test methods
  • Experience in leading large quality assurance teams and/or other teams in the gaming industry
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, a fine eye for detail and an open and friendly character
  • Experience in bug fixing, creating test plans and managing testing procedures
  • Very good written German and English, both written and spoken, and extremely well-versed in Excel
  • Experienced in using bug tracking software, preferably Atlassian Jira
