Job Description	Eurocom was founded in 1988 and has evolved into a world leading developer of cutting-edge console games based on high profile franchises and movies. Eurocom’s development team comprises of 250 highly experienced and talented staff, based in Derby in the UK. We are seeking to appoint a special effects artist to produce special effects graphics in-line with project requirements. This role requires an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge of 3D modelling (Maya or Max), and of Photoshop, as well as an intermediate level of knowledge of an industry quality video-editing programme, i.e., Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas Video. Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge of methods and techniques within a 3D engine and good knowledge of all platforms’ strengths and limitations. The ability to concept sketch or illustrate would be an advantage. Previous experience in a similar industry would be highly desirable but not essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are experienced in creating high-quality particle effects, low polygon 3D modelling, including characters, buildings, vehicles, props, weapons, etc. and in creating high-quality textures.
