At the moment we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Job role:
The Senior Software Engineer (SSE) is the most senior engineering position in game development. The SSE is accountable for all of the technology and the overall quality of the code for their respective game studio. The SSE is expected to be a key influencer at EA, helping to achieve studio-wide development goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead small team of engineers to maintain cross-platform multi-core rendering architecture (PC, Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360)
- Research and develop advanced materials (shaders)
- Collaborate with senior artists to improve cutting edge rendering, lighting
- Maintain high performance across PC configurations from "min spec" to "high end"
- Report to the Technical Director

Skills and Experience Required
- At least 6 years of game programming experience
- At least one successfully shipped project
- Bachelor or masters degree in math or computer science (or similar)
- Excellent C++ skills. Knowledge of Assembly language and C# desired
- Substantial experience in MS Visual C++ 8
- Rendering experience using HLSL, DirectX 9, 10
- Rendering experience on consoles (Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360)
- Experience with multi-platform graphical pipelines and workflow
- Experience with multi-core / thread programming
- Experience with CPU and GPU optimization techniques
- Ability to incorporate into an existing code
- Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Excellent ability to work and communicate in a motivated team
- Fluent English
- Passionate about making and playing games
