Job Title Public Relations Manager - Major Publisher

Job Description Day One Search is looking to recruit a PR Manager for a rapidly expanding major Games Publisher in London.

Reporting to the Public Relations Director, the Public Relations Manager is responsible for managing the UK PR agency, championing relevant internal and external development studios and driving the PR team in general.

Duties will include:

Managing the UK PR agency - Develop UK PR plans, per product, to target available UK media to best effect and to drive consistency and quality of approach throughout the region

Working with the Press - Manage day to day relationships and communication with UK press to position the company as “front of mind” for inclusion in industry-specific features and gaming press releases. Organise regular play sessions with journalists. Manage UK press at large media events.

Reporting - Collate and structure UK media coverage to provide the Public Relations Assistant with the necessary information to produce a monthly / quarterly PR press coverage report for all European employees and partners

Experience & Skills Required:

- Strong PR Management experience in the games industry.

- Experience of managing relationships with the press.

- Excellent knowledge of video games especially console titles.
