Job Description	This acclaimed games development studio based in Brighton is responsible for a chart topping series that has given it one of the biggest names in the industry. The Role Day One Search has been appointed to recruit a Lead Programmer to take ownership of the studio’s key IP and move the team forward to new achievements. This role has opened due to an internal promotion, so it is an excellent role at the heart of the Studio leading an established and successful team in partnership with Sony on a 1st Party PS3 title. Your Background You will need to have worked in a Lead or Senior role previously, having already acquired some man management/team leading skills as well as having exposure to most areas of the development cycle - from core tech and game systems design through to gameplay, tools and other key elements. Core skills are C++ with the ability to step up to Next Gen console development (if not already having prior experience) – PS3 in particular. A background leaning towards gameplay / gamelogic is prefered as the core tech team takes on the graphics engine elements, so that would not form part of this role.
