| Job Description | Our client is an independently-owned game studio based near London, England. Founded in 2001, it has rapidly established itself as one of the leading game developers in Europe. Dedicated to online gaming, the studio has contributed to several high profile releases, and is currently developing an unannounced multi-platform title. As Gameplay Scripter, you will work with the Design team to develop single player experiences in a new unannounced title, designing engaging single player scenarios in partnership with the Level Design Team. You will also work with the Gameplay Programmers to determine any code features required , and will be involved in Scripting the scenarios from prototype to shipping, evolving the implementation based on feedback from QA and playtesting Prior gameplay experience, either commercially or on a completed mod with multiple releases is required, as is a good understanding of FPS game-play/game-flow demonstrated in an online multiplayer game (for example Quake 3, Quake 4, DOOM 3, RTCW, Wolf:ET). You must have Previous experience with level scripting or programming languages, and have the ability to write clear, maintainable portable scripting. |
