Job Description Digital Marketing Manager – Based London – Salary Negotiable

This is a truly unique opportunity to join one of the world's leading developers & publishers of interactive entertainment software - who develop our products for all popular game systems, personal computers and wireless devices.

THE ROLE

-Reporting directly to the Marketing Director for the UK & Ireland, the Digital Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for the effective planning, selling-in, coordination and timely delivery of all aspects of our digital / online marketing plan.

-They will act as an internal ‘Center of Excellence’ to initially establish and ultimately grow our digital marketing strategy and capabilities across Product Marketing, Trade Marketing and PR. In this respect, they will own the relationship between the UK & Ireland and CEM (Central European Marketing) on all online issues, as well as being the key contact point for our external online agency team (Media Planning & Buying, Creative, Community Management).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-In conjunction with the Marketing Director, develop, sell-in, deliver and optimize an overall Digital Marketing Strategy for the UK & Ireland across our portfolio of games titles and brand initiatives
- Work closely with each respective Product Marketing Manager, PR Manager and Trade Marketing Manager to ensure that all budgets assigned for Digital / Online Marketing are maximized to meet our specified marketing objectives and deliver against our sell-in / through targets
- Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the developments in digital / online marketing practices, tactics and tools; educate the team to ensure that best practices are being applied throughout all our marketing and PR activities
- Manage Online Product Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Online Community Marketing, Website Management, Email Marketing, Online Trade Marketing

KEY COMPETENCIES

-Graduate calibre with solid experience of and expertise in all aspects of digital / online marketing, with an excellent knowledge of the latest developments in this space
- Proven track record in delivering impactful and effective digital marketing campaigns utilizing a mix of media and mechanics
- Experience of working in a fast-paced hi-tech or new media industry, preferably computer and video games
- Proven relationship-building ability essential, ideally within a multi-layered International environment
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills are critical in this role
-Ability to handle large workloads and deliver appropriate materials /activity on time
