Job Description My client is world renowned for being the first company to create 3D character animation software based on an astounding new technology developed at one of the worlds top universities. Their in-house character animation technology utilizes Adaptive Behaviours and Artificial Intelligence to simulate the human-nervous system. Now being used by top developers on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC titles, this company is responsible for creating unique game moments and previously unachievable interactivity. This ever expanding and wholly innovative company is now working on its own in house game projects for all Next-Gen platforms, as well as projects for the film and TV industry.

With customers such as Sony, LucasArts, Rockstar, Giant Killer Robots, The Mill, Capcom, Namco and Konami, this company will surely continue to lead the way in creating stunningly realistic effects for film, TV, and games in the coming decades.

The Lead Integration Engineer will work on our acclaimed tools/middleware products and will be responsible for leading the integration of our technology into game engines such as Unreal Engine 3. This role will involve a mix of core product development work and engine integration work. The Lead Integration Engineer will work alongside the development and sales teams. In addition, the Lead Integration Engineer may have occasional onsite visits to customers and technology partners.

Core to this role is the ability to:
- Understand the integration of technology into games engines and other middleware
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with developers, artists and sales engineers
- Solve technical issues for clients within their studio environment

Required skills:
- Experience in working with various in-house or middleware based game engines (UE3 preferred)
- In depth understanding of animation systems
- Strong C/C++
- Strong background in VFX and / or games animation (ideally with past experience in Alias, Softimage or XSI products)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Lua or other high-level scripting languages Skills may include some of maths, physics, 3D, graphics, direct x, renderware, tools, plugins, AI, C++, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, PSP, Unix, SDKs, OpenGL, MFC, Server, SQL, COM and .Net
