Job Title Senior Software Programmer

Job Description This Scottish company works solely on original game titles for next gen consoles, using a unique concept and technology that will create new possibilities in massively multi-player on-line gaming.

They need a Senior Software Engineer to work on a PC or XBOX 360 title.
The successful candidate will be responsible for some supervision of engineers and play a proactive role in software architecture.

Required skills and experience:
- Good BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- 3 years’ professional Software Engineering in a team environment
- Experience in recent 3D games technology or similar.
- C++ or C#
- Object-oriented Design
- PC/Windows, understanding of game application programming
- Ability to communicate ideas well and assist junior programmers
- Skills in any of Networking, AI, Physics, Rendering, Animation or other key game technologies Skills may include some of maths, physics, 3D, graphics, direct x, renderware, tools, plugins, AI, C++, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, PSP, Unix, SDKs, OpenGL, MFC, Server, SQL, COM and .Net
