A market leading and rapidly expanding innovative Healthcare company based in North London are seeking a versatile programmer to work in a varied application development role within a small friendly team. This is a really varied role where the Android App Developer will lead the development of three existing Android apps, create new ones and further integrate with the web and social media. The existing apps include several games, create databases, download information from the web, and play video for the purposes of medical training and sales tools. The Android App Developer will have the opportunity to move them forward, enhancing the user experience with improving functionality and adding more exciting and engaging games. Because you will be working in a small team you should be willing to get involved in a few tasks outside your general remit from time to time also.

Ideally the Android App Developer will have:

  • Experience developing for Android platform
  • Strong Java programming skills
  • Experience working on at least 3 published android applications
  • Some experience of games development would be advantageous
  • Experience in web development particularly, HTML, CMS and jQuery
  • Ability to work on their own and manage projects
  • Database integration experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Positive and professional outlook
  • You should be proactive and a good team player
  • Someone with less commercial experience who has developed some killer aps of their own could be of interest.
