| Job Description | This is the Surrey arm of one of the largest independent games developers in Europe. With studios in three UK locations, they develop games for all major consoles, PC and wireless. They require a Gameplay programmer to join a team of 5 coders developing the next title in their franchise. The successful candidate will work on a number of gameplay areas, including behaviours, animation, control systems and character motion models. The project is yet to be announced, but is built on Nintendo’s hugely successful Wii platform. Essential skills are C++, OO, games development, AI/behavioural modelling or similar. Console game programming and LUA are also desirable. Skills may include some of maths, physics, 3D, graphics, direct x, renderware, tools, plugins, AI, C++, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, PSP, Unix, SDKs, OpenGL, MFC, Server, SQL, COM and .Net |
