Mobile Games Programmer

Market leading, high profile games publisher require an experienced Mobile Games Programmer to develop brand new, cutting edge games for mobile platforms.

This is a great opportunity to work with and benefit from a high profile name more traditionally associated with the console and handheld market, whilst being involved in developing engaging, polished and fun games for the mobile and tablet market.

Working with talented designers and artists you will take ownership of all aspects of mobile games development including gameplay, user interface, game mechanics and graphics, developing high quality prototypes for mobile games and applications. You will also have input into the creative process in terms of new ideas and improvements to games design.

You should have:

  • at least 3 years’ commercial cross-platform games development experience
  • worked on at least 1 published iOS or Android mobile title.
  • experience of C++, C# or JavaScript
  • experience of the full games development lifecycle including gameplay, touch-based input concepts and frontend and graphics programming.
  • experience of writing shaders and DirectX or OpenGL
  • experience of Unity or Marmalade would be advantageous.
