A household name within the gaming industry, are looking for an exceptional Lead Analytics Consultant to join their analytics and insight team. This particular business unit provides a crucial insight and analytical capability that enables the company to better understand their customers in terms of preferences, spend capabilities and overall patterns of behaviour.

The Role

As the Lead Analytics Consultant you will be tasked with assisting in the development of the analytics team, as well as take the lead on various exciting analytical projects. You will be expected to establish effective standards for insight and analytics work and oversee the implementation of a technical platform capable of supporting the complex analytical needs of the company’s different business units. Client facing and an excellent communicator, you will be confident interacting with senior business stakeholders in order to understand their analytical needs, subsequently shaping analytical work packages to cater to these needs and leading small teams of analysts in the delivery of these packages.

The Person

With at least 5 years of experience within a commercially focussed analytics environment, you will be experienced in developing and growing teams within a global company, understanding the challenges that face such an organisation. You will possess exceptional quantitative, problem solving and critical thinking skills, along with an excellent understanding of data warehousing principles and data modelling. Ideally, your background will be from retail, online/e-commerce or entertainment and you will naturally be strong utilising commercial statistical analytics tools such as SPSS, SAS, Revolution R etc.
