Job Description This central UK games company develops and publishes games for Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft and PCs, as well as multiplayer and world games for internet play. They have been in existence for years and have had many No 1 hits across Europe. They have been voted Publisher of the Year by gaming magazines.

Working closely with the management the successful candidate will develop a detailed specification and schedule for Implementation and Test. You must also be able to identify and report additional tasks over and above the delegated work, that will aid the projects schedule and or quality.

You will test all code against specification to ensure it performs as required and fix any bugs identified in owned code, either through own testing or through QA.

The role will require you to document all code in line with relevant procedures and ensure any software designed for use by a customer is fully documented in a useable help file.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and must be able to demonstrate cross platform and console development experience

You will be literate in C and or C++ and computer architecture knowledge. Specific experience within Graphics, Frontend Programming, AI, Physics, Networking, Tools or Audio would be a distinct advantage. Skills may include some of maths, physics, 3D, graphics, direct x, renderware, tools, plugins, AI, C++, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, PSP, Unix, SDKs, OpenGL, MFC, Server, SQL, COM and .Net
