| Job Description | We are seeking an experienced UI Engineer who is passionate about building HTML5 based web applications and components for GFACE. Requirements: - Strong skills in developing Javascript based UI logic using frameworks like YUI, Dojo, jQuery - Strong knowledge of HTML5 and W3C Standards - Strong skills in creating optimized in size and render time HTML/CSS code markup based on prepared visual design - Ability to create solid HTML/CSS foundation - Keeping current on new browsers, versions, capabilities, limitations and differences - Solid knowledge of SEO techniques - Experience of optimizing multimedia content for the web - Used Agile Methodology as a software development process, particularly SCRUM - Experience with standard revision control (SVN) and defect tracking tools (JIRA) - Used to work on Unix/Linux environments - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Passion for video games - Willing to relocate to Frankfurt am Main, Germany - Experience: 3+ years Pluses: - Other scripting languages, e.g. Python, Perl, PHP - Flash/Flex development Responsibilities: - Own the development of one or more frontend web components, from specification through design, coding, debugging, and deployment - Work closely with QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the development cycle - Work closely with Operations to install, configure and operate developed features, as appropriate - Participate in the scoping and sizing of requirements using agile development methods - Help to drive the delivery of successful, cutting edge products by working on a team with other highly talented developers and designers |
