Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior Programmer who has worked on a variety of AAA titles. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in various areas of programming, such as, graphics, tools, AI, gameplay, etc… If you’ve got the chops, we’ve got the job!                                              

 

Responsibilities:

•Work with the programming team to drive the implementation of the project’s technical vision.

•Collaborate with art, design and production as needed.

•Ability to work in an agile and cross platform environment.

•Provide creative solutions to technical problems and see that they are carried to completion.

•Hands-on coding in C++.

•Mentor junior programmers on the team.

 

Requirements:

•At least 8+ years of game industry experience as a Programmer and at least two shipped AAA console or PC title.

•Experience working with a cross-platform engine.

•Ability to work independently with little supervision yet also is a team contributor and works well with others, no crybabies please.

•Demonstrated proficiency in C++ with experience architecting systems from scratch.

•A strong understanding of software engineering practices.

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.        

•Proven ability to successfully multi-task under considerable pressure.

•An avid gamer with strong interest in pushing the industry forward creatively.

 

Cool Extras:

•Bachelor´s (BA) degree in CS from an accredited 4-year college or university or equivalent industry experience

•Fundamental understanding of all aspects of game engine development: 3D, sound, physics, AI, networking, multi- threading, UI and tools, with a passion for learning.

•Experience working with the CryEngine.

•A sense of humor never hurts anyone.

•No crybabies please.
