My client is one of the most successful independent and renowned game studios in the world currently seeking a Tools Programmer. The successful Tools Programmer  will have a genuine interest in tools development and have a minimum 5 years of relevant games industry experience with strong C# skills.Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing implementing and maintaining tools for all disciplines across the development team
  • Writing and maintaining tools documentation
  • Working closely with other team members to diagnose, debug and fix issues within the tools
  • 3D Studio Max Plugins and MaxScript
  • Knowledge of game content creation pipelines and tools
  • World Authoring Tools
  • Experience with SQL an advantage
  • Experience with HTML


Skills Required:
  • Strong C++/C# skills and at least five years of industry experience
  • Profile and maintain existing game code
  • Work with the Technical Director, department leads and programmers to design the game code and contribute to technical design documents
  • Assist in preparing milestone builds as required
  • Good debugging skills
  • Self motivation
  • Excellent communication, time-management & organizational skills
