Job Description Game Designer – London – Up to £55,000!

Leading Mobile and social Games Company are looking for a passionate, creative and experienced Game Designer to develop next generation mobile social gaming experiences. My client are looking for the successful Games Designer to be a passionate individual who can create fun, compelling and addictive user experiences and is dedicated to bringing innovation to the user’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, addictive and innovative social game play mechanisms
• Design and document game features for games
• Analyze game data continuously to improve user gaming experience
• Write and develop storylines for games
• Collaborate with game artists and engineers during production
• Communicate clear and concisely games features to be executed by the team
• Contribute to user interface design
• Oversee ongoing implementation of new and existing features alongside Studio team
• Model revise and develop complex systems using Excel

Qualifications

• Industry game design experience is required
• Expert in game balancing with numbers
• Stays current with the latest social game mechanisms
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Enjoys a start-up environment; Ambitious and driven
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle unforeseen circumstances
• Degree educated is advantageous
• Strong quantitative analysis skills is a strong plus
• Experience in developing features to enhance the user’s social/mobile game experience
• Proficient and advance user in excel
• Strong analytical skills required
• Programming knowledge and skills is desirable
