| Job Description | CURRENTLY SCHEDULING INTERVIEWS IN LONDON FOR WEEK OF MAY 19 Brash Entertainment is seeking a UK-based PR Manager to oversee product and corporate communications efforts in Europe. The PR Manager will report directly into the VP of Communications, driving strategy in EMEA territories, ensuring success through tight management of territory reps and agencies and partnering closely with the US based PR manager to create and implement global plans. It is important to note that the PR Manager will be expected not only to translate and implement global plans but to drive creative localized efforts in each territory. The PR Manager will also work closely with local film marketing and PR teams to identify and execute shared opportunities. The position requires close collaboration with functional departments in both the US and Europe (product development, sales, marketing , etc.). The ideal candidate will be an avid consumer of media (TV, film, music, print, online), have experience in games and/or entertainment and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for both a creative and analytical thinker, with strong problem solving skills, a solution-focused outlook and the ability to manage multiple products throughout the product life cycle. Role requires a quick learner, able to multi-task in a face-paced environment and to work from home. While we are hoping to hire a full time employee, we will consider consultant roles. Responsibilities: - Manage Brash’s PR efforts in Europe - Serve as day to day contact on the ground in Europe - Work with internal team and external agencies to maximize results on Brash products. Drive success through tight management of territory reps and agencies - Develop relationships with film marketing to identify and maximize joint opps - Work closely with US PR manager to time and coordinate global efforts - Adapt NA PR plan to European Needs /Timing - Drive localized efforts—facilitate creative and unique efforts in each country - Identify corporate and consumer trend stories for involving Brash - Ensure that all game assets are leveraged - Event support - Speaking opportunities/conferences - Regular contact with: Brash US PR / Corp and Product Brash European based team Agencies Partners Film marketing (European based film studio PR teams) Job specifications: - In depth understanding of European media market - Successful candidates will be avid consumers of media (film, television, music, online, magazines) with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong writing skills are a must - Video game or entertainment industry experience - Possess excellent project management skills to effectively track multiple deliverables across functional areas and timelines in a fast-paced environment - Experience developing brand strategies, conducting market research, implementing marketing plans, managing strategic relationships and product lifecycle management - Must have good organizational skills and be very detail oriented - Candidates must work well in a fast-paced and growing environment, be flexible, and possess a can-do attitude to exploit the unexpected and to succeed in unpredictable situations - Ability to think creatively, identify problems, and offer solutions - Ability to complete assignments within tight and often difficult deadlines - Bachelor’s degree required - A POSITIVE AND SUPPORTIVE ATTITUDE IS A MUST!
