The role is to work with post graduate students at Birmingham City University’s market leading games development Masters course, Gamer Camp and undergraduate students studying an innovative new two-year studio based called Interactive Entertainment (Games Development).

Whilst within a learning environment the role requires teaching supporting and mentoring students as they develop interactive applications and video games products on PC, Tablet and consoles including PlayStation 4 & Playstation Vita.

The Gamer Camp courses are part of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s PlayStation First Scheme and are one of only 5 educational institutions in Europe who are developing on PlayStation 4. Potential applicants will be required to have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related subject and preferably post graduate qualifications allied to education, gaming or computer science. Potential applicants will also be required to have experience of working within the video games industry.
