Job Description Our client is one of the world's leading mobile game developers, currently looking to expand and build a new world class studio in Canada to work on mobile games using a variety of technologies.

Amongst other positions, we are looking to hire multiple talented Experienced and Senior Client Programmers, primarily to work on the client side of the mobile games, but could also be required to contribute to the server side.

You will work with a small and agile team, reporting to the Technical Director and collaborating closely with designers, analysts and product managers, brainstorming ideas, iterating on solutions and troubleshooting. This studio believes in fast collaboration in order to work quickly and intelligently, and they expect their employees to be both independant and collaborative. Confidence, with the wisdom to know when to validate your ideas with your peers is the norm.

Desired Skills and experience;
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in professional software development
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, C/C++, Javascript
  • Proven track record in mobile application development, including Android and iOS
  • An eye for esthetics
  • Eagerness to push the boundaries of game performance and user experience on mobile devices
  • Excellent communication skills - our client are building a multilingual and multicultural studio, therefore communication across language and timezones is essential
  • Ability to define and meet a schedule
  • Initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work self-directed

In addition, the following would be advantageous;
  • Previous Games development experience
  • 3D Art tools programming
  • Experience with Unity and/or Javascript
