|Job Description||Our client is a small independent developer in the London area who opened up their offices over four years ago now, and through small collaborations have gained international recognition in the industry, now featuring at events worldwide. Having previously created games on browser, social, desktop as well as mobile and on Windows, OSX, iOS and Android, they are now looking to grow the team and hire a Unity Programmer to start work on a brand new project.
As the sole developer in the team, you will have full responsibility over the development of the code through the whole lifecycle of the project, from concept development and game design through to build, testing and launch. We are looking for someone passionate and creative who is keen to pitch in to various areas when necessary and be committed to creating an exceptional piece of software and game.
You’ll be doing exciting work that stretches you and lets you develop your skills within our small team and be part of our internationally recognized success. Recent projects have won us critical acclaim and been showcased throughout the UK and the US. Our comfortable central-London studio with top-end desks and ergonomic chairs will put you at the heart of the studio and a fantastic international city.
We are looking for someone with experience developing games and possesses advanced C# and Unity skills. You’ve already played an essential role in developing multiple Unity games for mobile, tablet and/or PC. You will be responsible for implementing and polishing key features. Above all, you must be ambitious, personable and enthusiastic about making great games – you’re probably a bit of a perfectionist; you likely play a lot of games too.
In brief, here is what we will be looking in the successful candidate;
- Extensive Unity development experience using C# and associated frameworks with several Unity games in your portfolio
- Familiar with the development process for iOS, Android, Windows and OSX and integrating with features specific to these platform
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience
- Experienced in working with version control
- A creative, talented coder who knows OOP and cares about elegant solutions, beautiful code and efficient design
- Someone who can inspire and be inspired by working in our team.
