Job Description This is a once in a life time opportunity to join one of the most ambitious start-ups in the games industry. Founded by established industry experts, this company are now looking to secure the services of a talented, passionate 3D Artist to visualise their world to the next level of evolution.

Primarily with an environment focus, we are looking for generalist ability for a variety of game assets including character and props. You should have some ability in sketching and concepting through to final artwork production. As well as some commercial experience in a variety of genres (photo-realistic, fantasy, sci-fi etc.) the primary ingredients for the right candidate are sheer talent and passion to be part of a world-class game experience.

With brand new state of the art offices in Dublin, the focus is hard-core F2P MMO setting a new standard of AAA quality artwork in this sector. Having secured significant and high-profile financial backing, the founders have a history of building successful teams within games and are amongst the industry’s most influential entrepreneurs. The seamlessly cross-platform vision is one of the most aspirational and technically demanding goals under endeavour.

Requirements

• A talent for exceptional environments
• Knowledge in lighting, texturing and rendering
• Experience of multiple titles and had a hand in creating environments, props and characters
• A portfolio demonstrating the requirements listed, showing a range of art styles and characteristics
• They are a MAYA studio but can accept skills in 3DSMAX or other packages
• Development for mobile devices or an MMO a bonus
• Ideal candidates will love playing and creating MMO, RTS, RPG, FPS, type games
