Job Description
An experienced 2D / 3D Artist is required by one of the leading developers of sports games. They have a base of full-time staff in the UK and employ the services of more than 1,500 part-time researchers across the globe. They are responsible for developing numerous titles that are among the UK's Top 20 best-selling PC games of all time.

The studio is looking for a talented artist to lead a small team working on all aspects of artwork from illustration / concept to 3D modelling and texturing, menu and graphic artwork, GUI and HUD. As a senior artist you will give artistic direction and play a key role in the on-going production of AAA titles.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Design and create graphical assets for our titles
* User Interface improvements and maintenance work
* Creation of mock-ups for assisting the design process
* Work with developers and other artists concurrently

The ideal candidate will ideally have a solid background in the industry with experience in mentoring team members. You must have excellent traditional art skills with an proven working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

You will need the following skills and experience:

* Strong 2D experience essential
* 3D experience a bonus
* Proven GUI experience
* Interest in CG and digital skinning methodologies a bonus but not essential
* XSI Softimage experience beneficial
