Job Title Senior Producer (Internal), Midlands

Job Description
A well established game developer based in the Midlands is currently looking for a talented senior level producer to augment the existing team. The studio has developed a diverse range of games and are currently focusing on character based, gameplay focussed puzzle titles across a range of plaforms.

This is a key role within the team and offers the candidate an opportunity to lead the studio's production team, their project management processes and ultimately making a real impact upon the quality and timely delivery of the team's titles.

They are looking for an experienced, creative multi-platform game producer with an eye for excellence and a proven record of proactive management and quality product delivery.

Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of projects, driving their development and championing them internally;
* Proactively managing the design, planning, budget, schedule and final delivery of multiple titles;
* Managing and mentoring Producers and Assistant Producers and interfacing directly with the development teams;
* Evaluating and managing external teams and freelancers;
* Interviewing staff and conducting staff appraisals;
* Assisting in the drive to generate new concepts and IP.

Essential Skills:
* High levels of creativity, an exceptional eye for quality, and good organisation and project management skills;
* A clear understanding of key technical issues involved with game development;
* An understanding of all departments and processes involved in the delivery of high-quality games;
* Able to build efficient groups and teams with best practice work-flows to produce the most effective production process;
* Good scope control skills and understanding;
* Experience in risk analysis and mitigation;
* Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills;
* Experience of managing teams of 20+ and external contributors.

Desirable Skills:
* Experience of console manufacturer approval processes;
* Experience of creating and managing project budgets;
* Microsoft Project experience;
* Experience / knowledge of different project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.);
* Creative, overflowing with ideas, but with a realistic view of the achievable;
* Concept and product presentations.
