Job Title ONLINE / NETWORK PROGRAMMER

Job Description My client is well known for their sports based titles and due to their continuing success they are now in a period of growth.

They are looking for an experienced Online/Network Programmer to work as part of the programming team on a new online title for PS3 and PC. Reporting directly to the Lead Programmer you must have the following qualities:
• Must be self motivating, intelligent and enthusiastic.
• Able to plan and schedule a solution for a set goal.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
• Must have strong software engineering and debugging skills.
• At least three years work-place programming experience.
• Experience of Console development preferred.
• Excellent C++ knowledge essential.
• Experience of game-side network code such as addressing latency and lag, client-side prediction and correction issues.
• Asynchronous, network client and or server programming knowledge beneficial.
• A good understanding of the production process.
• A Self-disciplined and proactive approach to work with an appetite to learn
