| Job Description | My client is well known for their sports based titles and due to their continuing success they are now in a period of growth. They are looking for an experienced Online/Network Programmer to work as part of the programming team on a new online title for PS3 and PC. Reporting directly to the Lead Programmer you must have the following qualities: Must be self motivating, intelligent and enthusiastic. Able to plan and schedule a solution for a set goal. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Must have strong software engineering and debugging skills. At least three years work-place programming experience. Experience of Console development preferred. Excellent C++ knowledge essential. Experience of game-side network code such as addressing latency and lag, client-side prediction and correction issues. Asynchronous, network client and or server programming knowledge beneficial. A good understanding of the production process.
