Job Title HOT ROLE !!! FLASH TECHNICAL DEVELOPER
Job Category Programmers
Job Description My client is well known for their Sports based titles and due to their success is in a period of growth.

Many of their console and PC games are being designed to have an interactive presence on the web. As such this role provides the exciting opportunity to work on components of large games with support from Programmers and Artists on the teams.
Reporting to the Technical Director and Project Manager and working alongside our Artists and Programmers (game and server), the role will involve creating the flash components to work in conjunction with our custom servers and SQL backend via Actionscript.
The role focuses on the Actionscript coding ability of the candidate rather than the art side, however should the candidate possess good art or C++ skills then these could provide an opening into full console games as we use Flash for our user interfaces using Scaleform. The candidate should have the following qualities:
• Advanced knowledge of Flash CS3 (mainly action scripting, but graphics a plus)
• Actionscript 2 (3 optional)
• Integration of flash into web based applications and frameworks.
• Must be self motivating, intelligent and enthusiastic.
• Able to plan and schedule a solution for a set goal.
• At least two years work-place programming experience with at least one shipped product credit.

• A Self-disciplined and proactive approach to work with an appetite to learn.
• Ability to work with a team.

• Experience of ASP and SQL.
• Knowledge of golf.
• Knowledge of C++ or C# or good artistic abilities.
