LEAD ARTIST ( Exciting new MMO )

Job Description Do you want the opportunity of working with studio backed by a major publisher for a New exciting MMO ? Do you want to be part of a larger world of gaming ? Then read on ....

We are currently looking for a highly-motivated, personable lead artist to work on an undisclosed next-gen console title. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all fields within the art team, with particular strengths in either environment or character creation. The candidate should also have experience and confidence in liaising with external publishers.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of internal art team
Work with art director and production team to define key milestones.
Ensure the quality established by the art director remains to the highest standard.
Lead by example, strong communication skills and be able to define clear expectations of the quality of artwork to the team.
Make a significant contribution to the creation of art assets.
Report regularly to the art director with progress updates.
Experience

At least 2 years’ lead artist experience
At least 7 years’ experience within the games industry
At least 3 published titles, including one next-gen (PS3/X360)
Experience of working on an MMO is a plus
At least 7 years’ experience with 3D modelling package
At least 7 years’ experience with Photoshop
Location NOTTINGHAM, UK & Europe, England, Midlands
Salary EXCELLENT + BENS + STOCK ETC
