Job Description Established, industry leading games company are seeking an equally ambitious Intermediate Gameplay Engineer to be responsible for implementing a variety of high-level Gameplay and AI features for an innovative driving game for major home Nextgen consoles.

You will be implementing practical and timely solutions that meet game design and technical requirements and maintain, re-factor and improve existing solutions. Working as a part of an agile development team you will take responsibility for organising and planning your own work.

This is one of the largest developers in Europe and as a result offers the potential for international career development opportunities.

To apply:
- You must have at least 1 completed project under your belt (console or PC)
- Be passionate about playing and making games.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
- An ability to work with non-technical people and translate their ideas into software requirements.
- Ability to plan your work and then deliver on time.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science or other relevant subject, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of AI-related methods and algorithms.
- Data management, optimisation and algorithm design skills.
- Experience working with scripting languages (particularly Lua).
