Job Description	My client is one of the largest independent developers with a number of studios around the UK and Overseas. They are currently seeking a Senior Gameplay programmer who will be responsible architecting and developing core game systems on an exciting next-gen project. Main Duties Taking ownership of large sections of the code within the game in regards to implementation and functionality. Liaising with game programmers, artists and designers to make sure their needs are met in an efficient manner. Essential Skills At least 2 shipped titles. At least 4 years previous experience in commercial game programming. In depth knowledge of optimisation and performance. Technical design/architecture skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Genuine passion and enthusiasm for quality games. Able to self-manage own schedule. Desired Skills In-depth knowledge in either AI or Networking. Ability to demonstrate significant contribution to past titles. Ability to mentor junior technical programmers. Ability to lead a small sub-team. Ambitious and quality driven.
