| Job Description | My client is one of the largest independent developers with a number of studios around the UK and Overseas. They thrive on innovative, open and enthusiastic teams who invest their creativity in projects that inspire them. They are currently seeking a Lead programmer who will be responsible for leading a team from concept to completion on an exciting next-gen title. Main Duties: Ensuring that your game is delivered to the highest possible quality both technically and critically.Leading and mentoring the team. Working closely with the producer to create and manage an effective schedule. Liaising with the Lead Artists and Lead Designer to make sure their needs are met in an efficient manner. Essential Skills: An experienced programmer with skills in a variety of areas. Solid appreciate of mentoring and scheduling. In depth knowledge of optimisation and performance. Technical design/architecture skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and ability to prioritise conflicting demands. Desirable skills: Desirable Skills Ability to demonstrate significant contribution to past titles. Ambitious and quality driven. |
