My client is one the worlds leading developers and publishers of video games. They have a tremendous pedigree in the industry and their products hold a special place in the hearts of gamers across the globe. Always responsible for producing high quality, games - they hold some of the most successful franchises in their varied product portfolio.
This role predominantly focuses on the Trading Card arm of the business, so we are looking for someone who has experience in that industry. However we know that this may be optimistic so we'll happily consider someone who has a genuine interest in playing cards such as Yu-Gi-Oh!
Purpose of the role:
Manage and oversee all Game activities in UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, South Africa and Scandinavia in order to maximise sales and profit.
Manage sales for all releases.
Set pricing for all markets in line with other branches; and to ensure a balance between sales and profitability.
Produce sales forecasts for each product to ensure
Oversee all Organised Play activity in conjunction with the external agency.
Manage external agency and gather feedback from stores and independents.
Oversee and manage Organised Play events and attend them when necessary.
Manage and create advertising campaigns/cross promotions.
Monitor marketing budget and revise when necessary
Experience / Skills required:
Significant account management experience across broad territory
Experience of managing third part vendors and agencies
Highly commercial, excellent financial awareness.
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
