After an amazing year, Team 17 are calling for a Senior Programmer to join their internal development team in Wakefield, Yorkshire. You'll be working on established and new IP as well as helping out with exciting new projects being developed by their external partners.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Programming and the project Producer, assessing risk from a technical point of view and providing appropriate solutions.

Working alongside other departments to ensure games are produced to the highest quality possible.

Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure deadlines are achievable whilst projecting a professional and positive approach.

Mentoring other programmers within the department.

Management / Leadership training will be provided where necessary to help you develop your career.

Essential Skills & Experience

4+ years working in the games industry
Excellent working knowledge of C++
Experience working on gameplay systems and have the ability to solve technical gameplay problems.
Able to communicate clearly especially when relating to technical issues.
Ability to manage others within a team, producing schedules and maintaining a clear communication path for issues as needed.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of console programming.
Knowledge of mobile programming and associated languages.
