| Job Description | My client is looking for a Global Brand Manager to be the visionary for the company’s long-term brand (content) strategy. It is their responsibility to create the over-arching brand marketing strategy across a portfolio of products and manage the execution and representation of the brand globally. This person will be responsible for all aspects of brand sourcing and management, IP creation and content direction, the primary function being to add value to the corporation through the acquisition and development of new intellectual property portfolio, through current and future platform opportunities, both in the traditional retail environment and the ever-evolving digital realm. The Global Brand Manager is the interface between all operating divisions of the company and is the owner of the long-term strategy for given portfolio through multiple iterations from inception to release. The Global Brand Management function has P&L responsibility for his/her brands Responsibilities: • Recommendation of potential new brands and IP’s. • Negotiation with brand agencies and licensors to secure appropriate deals for new IP’s • Formulate and develop global brand bibles for given digital titles • Work with local PR and Marketing teams to approve appropriate marketing plans in-line with the brand objectives and strategy • Working with existing licensors to ensure brand values are being adhered to. Ensure input and official sign off from key stakeholders and license holders where appropriate. • Presenting financial information at regular intervals throughout development cycle (key milestones, annual business planning). • Establishing the minimum acceptable product requirement based on market knowledge and technical feasibility. • Focus testing of products in development as appropriate to ensure alignment with target audience and quality assumptions as stated in the Brand strategy.
