Job Description They are seeking to fill a newly created role for a Marketing Manager. As always with new roles, this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to really make a mark in the business and shape the role as it progresses.

The essence of the role is to help the company to connect with consumers. The methods used in order to do this are, to a certain extent - up to you!

Role:

To ensure we have the best insight into product and consumers
To communicate and engage with our consumers in the most effective way(s)
To develop and implement marketing plans for all key product launches and then at relevant points during a product’s life
To provide the Sales Team with the information required to most effectively secure listings of our products and licenses
To effectively communicate and sell our brand and product plans internally to all departments.

Internal relationships:
Product Manager
Studio Manager
NPD Manager
Commercial Director
National Account Managers
Forecast and Inventory Manager

External relationships
Consumers
Retail Customers (e.g. Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Argos B&Q,
3rd party supplier (E.g. Cool Gear)
Licensors (Disney, Warner Bros, Turner, EOne, etc)

Essential
Working knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
A proven track record of delivering excellent brand marketing Strong understanding of retail customer and market dynamics

Desired:

Experience of working within the Licensing sector
Familiar with children's market

Role benefits:

35 hours per week (4½ working days)
