Job Description PHP Developer

A web developer is needed to help our start up client develop browser-based social games using PHP. This role is primarily focussed on development of the server based framework code that needs to support multiple games on multiple platforms, including mobile clients. Games are designed to run both externally and internally to social networks such as Facebook and Google+.

Requirements:
• PHP5 framework development experience
• Strong understanding and usage of OOP techniques
• MySQL and database architecture design
• High level of self-motivation coupled with good team-working skills
• Examples of work
• A degree or better in a relevant subject (computing, maths, physics, engineering)
• Interest in social game development

Of Advantage:
• Scaling web services across multiple servers
• Web service API development experience
• Experience with Facebook and / or Google+ APIs
• Apache and Linux server configuration
• XHTML, CSS and JavaScript

This is an entry level position where you will work with some very experienced industry professionals.
