RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & Brand Strategy
• Work with PD/ Studios to define product positioning, consumer target audience and appropriate feature sets and licensing applications to optimize commercial potential
• With the Brand Director and PD/ Studios define the optimum ROI
• Evangelise and represent their brand(s) to both internal stakeholders (via brand summits and territory tours) and external stakeholders (media events, retail presentations and consumer events)
• Engage PD/ Studios in the marketing process to ensure alignment and engagement with strategic and creative direction
• Use market data and consumer research to identify trade and consumer trends to help PD/ Studios iterate on new ideas
• Be a specialist about our own and competitors’ products within the product category

Global Marketing Strategy
• Work with the Brand Director to develop and execute the Global Brand Marketing Plan, which includes product positioning, target market identification and analysis, volume forecasting, budgeting, category & competitive analysis, pricing analysis, marketing strategy, creative development and through the line marketing execution
• Develop all consumer marketing materials including PR, advertising, packaging, online, retail and promotional materials in association with the marketing services group and external agency partners
• Manage external agency partners to deliver world class, on strategy campaign materials on budget and on time
• Drive the timely development of key PR assets including screen shots, game footage etc
• Manage timely distribution of these assets to internal territory teams and 3rd party distributor partners
• Manage the preparation and onsite support for sales meetings, trade shows, press events, and consumer launch events
• Manage the Central marketing budge
• Develop and manage research plan, including focus groups, surveys and post analysis information sharing
• Gather market data to measure effectiveness of marketing activities and maintain monthly buzz metrics

UK Marketing Execution
• Derive and execute UK specific marketing programs from the Global Brand Marketing Plan
• Manage UK local marketing budget and ensure effective deployment across the marketing mix
• Work with UK Sales to develop UK retail programmes with high quality supporting assets and POP
• Develop and execute UK media plan with local media agency
• Develop and execute UK below the line and promotional programmes with quality agency partners

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential

• BA HONS degree 2:1 or equivalent (or strong proven track record in videogame product marketing)
• Extensive experience in product marketing or brand management
• Detailed understanding of consumer entertainment markets – especially video games
• Clear understanding of all marketing communications tools across the full marketing mix
• Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis to projects / workflow
• Ability to plan and execute product launch strategy
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills required
• Great attention to detail and ownership of projects
• Demonstrable creative and strategic thinking
• Strong organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Financial and commercial awareness

Desirable
• Videogame, entertainment or toy industry experience at both local and international level
• Understanding of Key European territories and NA market
• Passionate/ knowledgeable about videogames
