Global Brand Manager

At Io we’re currently looking for a Global Brand Manager. The role requires a special talented someone able to bring international marketing experience to work within our in-house Brand team whilst liaising outwardly with our external publishing teams. The role will require someone to develop product marketing and communication strategies, promotional ideas as well as interfacing with the development team to ensure code and assets support each other.

Role and Responsibilities

• Research and develop a product Brand plan.
• Lead marketing ideas within the group, studio and out to the Square Enix publishing teams
• Establish ground-breaking promotional ideas.
• Have a good knowledge of the games industry, what’s worked and what’s failed and why
• Develop ideas and creative alongside territory needs requirements and feedback.
• Develop marketing pillars positioning and target audience.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills and very approachable character
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of global advertising and age rating standards/requirements
• A passion for video games is mandatory
• Great presentation skills

Of advantage

• Experience at a major AAA game development studio or a global publisher working within the brand or marketing department
• Understanding of game development process
• Ability to understand Danish
