Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

16th May 08

XLEAGUE.TV today is proud to celebrate its first birthday.

Since its launch 12 months ago, the channel has been viewed by over 11 million people, has crowned over 50 champions in its leagues and tournaments and has given away over £100,000 in prizes.

Since its inception, the channel has continued to make great strides in gaming. This looks set to continue into its second year with a broader range of new programmes planned, and further developments set for the channel’s website and interactive services.

Ray Mia, Channel Head of PULSE comments: “All the team at XLEAGUE.TV are very pleased to be celebrating our first birthday. Our continued rise in viewing figures and online services is yet another example of our commitment to make XLEAGUE.TV the number one brand in UK gaming. This is another milestone in the rise of the channel and I’m positive our plans for the forthcoming year will see great strides for gaming and the gaming industry.”
