Xendex unveils new London office

European mobile games developer, Xendex has announced the opening of a its new London office, which along with Krakow, Poland, is the second new location for the company outside its headquarters in Austria.

Xendex's London office will be headed by Achim Kürten, who joined the company in April this year as VP of International Sales & Marketing. The office will serve as a central point of contact for Xendex's distribution, marketing and licensing partners.

"For Xendex, the existence of a local presence in the UK is of strategic importance", says Michael Haberl, CEO of Xendex.

"A significant number of our key publishing and licensing partners are based in London. Working from within the country will enable us to offer our partners an even better, faster and more direct service than before. After the recent investment of EUR 2.3 million by Venture Capitalist Pontis, the UK office is the next logic step in our ambitious expansion strategy."
