Valve announces Orange Box pre-purchase bonuses
Team Fortress 2 beta and Peggle Extreme
Valve has announced that gamers who pre-purchase the PC edition of "The Orange Box" will gain exclusive access to the Team Fortress 2 beta.
As previously announced, The Orange Box features new titles Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal along with Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode 1.
Starting September 17, those who pre-purchase The Orange Box via Steam will be able to download and activate the beta release of Team Fortress 2 nearly a month ahead of the game's commercial release.
The Orange Box will be available in North America on October 10 and worldwide on October 12 for PC and Xbox 360.
PopCap Games and Valve have also teamed to create a special themed edition of Peggle Extreme for those who pre-purchase The Orange Box.
