Valve and id plans hit a snag

Valve and id Software have added DOSBox GPL (General Public Licence) documentation to the Steam games that use it to run on modern operating systems after users reported its absence from the original releases.
That absence was apparently an oversight, which was corrected as soon as the parties involved became aware.
That minor tweak follows news at QuakeCon that id Software's back catalogue is now available to download from Steam.
The developer also announced its upcoming game Rage and a second development team set to begin work on new projects - including a browser-based version of Quake Arena supported by advertising.
