Unity appoints new sales directors for Europe and US

Andrew Brammall and Davey Jackson selected to drive sales in respective territories

Unity Technologies has appointed two new regional sales directors for its European and North American businesses.

Andrew Brammall will head up the former and Davey Jackson the latter. Both will be responsible for driving sales of the Unity development platform for 3D content on PC, Mac, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Android, iPad and iPhone.

Brammall's 20 year track record in sales includes stints in senior European sales positions at Autodesk, Kynogon SA and Havok.

Jackson formerly held the role of director of licensing at GarageGames where he spent five years.

"I'm delighted to be joining the Unity team at such an exciting time in the company's history. I've been an admirer from afar for a while, and the combination of cool technology, bright people and an amazing community of users is remarkable," said Brammall.

"Unity has shown a tremendous commitment to developers by creating powerful, accessible technology and providing paths for developers to succeed in emerging game markets," added Jackson.

"The broad adoption of Unity in these markets, particularly for web and mobile games, is helping everyone from individuals to major publishers participate in this growth. I'm happy to be joining this continuously visionary company."

"Unity has grown beyond our expectations, and we are continually amazed at how broadly it is being used by advertising agencies, educational institutions and game developers," said David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies.

"Boosting our sales teams in both Europe and North America will put us in a better position to stay close to our customers and continue helping them succeed."
