UK Charts: Mario and Sonic remain in the lead

UT III re-enters chart at number nine with PS3 release

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games took the top spot on the UK all formats sales chart for the third consecutive week according to data released by Chart Track.

Call of Duty 4 rose two places to take the second spot, effectively siwtching places with recent release Devil May Cry 4 which fell two places to the fourth spot.

Midway's Unreal Tournament III re-entered the charts at number nine with the release of the PS3 version of the game. Another Midway title - Game Party - made the leap from fifteen to six on the charts. The biggest leap of all was made by Cooking Mama 2, which moved up twenty-one places from thirty-three to twelve.

FIFA Street 3 narrowly missed the Top Ten chart in its debut at number eleven, while Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity was another new chart entry in the thirty-seventh position.

The Top Ten best-selling titles in the UK for the week ended February 23 are:

1. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
3. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training
4. Devil May Cry 4
5. Wii Play
6. Game Party
7. Turok
8. FIFA 08
9. Unreal Tournament III
10. The Simpsons Game
